SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the community’s help in locating a man identified in two robberies committed since Sunday.

Marshall James Roberts, 25, has been positively identified as the suspect in the following cases:

  • Health Care Credit Union, 769 E. South Temple, 11:15 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014
  • Coffee Noir, 1035 E. 200 S., 8:15 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014

In the Coffee Noir robbery, he was in the company of an unidentified female suspect (pictured above).

Roberts is described as a white male, 25 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall, thin build, bushy hair.

Although no weapon was seen in either robbery, Roberts indicated he was armed and should be considered armed and dangerous. Roberts is a heroin addict. Should you encounter him, use extreme caution and notify law enforcement immediately.

Roberts is said to frequent the shelter area and is known to stay in local motels, possibly in the company of the woman with whom he robbed Coffee Noir.
