May 17, 2012 — The Salt Lake City Police Department will bestow annual honors and pay tribute to its fallen officers during a gala celebration at The Grand America Hotel tonight.

The Police Department invites reporters to cover the gala, which begins with a tribute to fallen officers at 7 p.m. A full list of honors will be available at that time.
