SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to locate a man suspected of killing Michael Ramirez, a 28-year-old resident of Salt Lake City.

Officers were dispatched on a possible death at 1267 W. 900 S. at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 05, 2015.  Ramirez was found deceased at the scene with evidence that he had been physically assaulted.

Homicide detectives have identified Roberto “Robert” Carlos Munoz, 29, as the suspect in the homicide. Robert was last seen leaving the homicide on foot at approximately 9:00 a.m. Munoz is a Hispanic male, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 150 lbs. and has buzzed black hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with black sleeves and blue jeans.

Robert Munoz has been known to be in possession of a handgun and should be considered armed and dangerous.
