Parents to Make Public Plea for Information in Son’s Homicide
During Press Conference Wednesday Afternoon 

Salt Lake City—The parents of 18-year-old homicide victim Gustavo Jarquin will make a public plea for information in their son’s case during a press conference at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, in the Media Briefing room, first floor of the Public Safety Building, 475 S. 300 E. 

The family of the victim will ask the community for help in finding the person(s) involved in the death of their son September 18, 2014, in the area of Indiana and Pueblo streets. https://slcpd.com/watch-log-thursday-september-18-2014 

Working closely with Investigators, they encourage the community to come forward and share any information about this case. Friends and acquaintances who knew or encountered Gustavo are also encouraged to come forward and help police piece together what happened. 

A cash reward is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect in this case. Dollar amount dependent on nature of information and role it may play in the investigation and prosecution.
