April 25, 2013 — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify two car thieves, as well as locate their car and a stolen vehicle.

At approximately noon Tuesday, April 23, 2013, a male and a female drove through the LDS Hospital parking garage in a late-model Jeep. They stopped next to a 1995 Ford Escort, dark green in color. One of the two suspects exited the Jeep. The Jeep then drove away. The Ford Escort can then be seen on videotape leaving the parking lot shortly thereafter.

Suspect vehicle description: black 2009 to 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport, with the front bumper black on the corners and silver in the center.

Stolen vehicle description: 1995 dark green 4-door Ford Escort, with Utah license plate 063 JCL.

Suspect #1, driver of the Jeep:

  • female white adult
  • age unknown
  • long dark hair
  • wearing a red or pink blouse

Suspect #2, passenger in the Jeep:

  • male adult
  • age unknown
  • with longer, light-colored hair
  • possibly light-colored beard
  • wearing a silver and possibly maroon striped shirt
