May 31, 2013 — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to locate a suspect wanted for attempted homicide.

Investigators have secured a $1 million bail warrant for the arrest of Anthony Lamar Vick (7/15/80).

At approximately 11 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013, SLCPD officers responded to a call of shots fired at 2635 S. Highland Drive and located a 40-year-old man lying in the street with a gunshot wound and other serious injuries. The victim was transported to the hospital and has since been upgraded to stable condition.

Suspect description:

  • male black adult,
  • 5 feet 6 inches tall,
  • 240 lbs.,
  • brown eyes,
  • and black hair.

The suspect, whose last known address was in Murray, Utah, should be considered armed and dangerous. SLCPD asks anyone with information about his location to call (801) 799-3000. Callers may remain anonymous.
