Posted June 28, 2013 — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify a male suspect captured on surveillance video damaging a home and vehicles.

The victim reports that their home and vehicles were damaged on three different occasions. The first incident occurred the night of June 1, with damage to a vehicle and the home discovered the following day.

Home surveillance video captured the suspect when he struck again:

  • June 12: male white suspect — wearing a bandana, sunglasses and knit hat — can be seen using a hammer to break the surveillance camera. It appears that he has a tattoo on his upper-right arm.
  • June 21: suspect can be seen aiming a weapon toward the victim’s vehicle. Damage found the next morning indicates the suspect may have used a BB gun.

The Police Department asks anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or location to call (801) 799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by texting TIPSLCPD plus information to 274637. Reference: cases #13-83760, #13-90553, and #13-96561.
