SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify and locate a suspect who earlier this evening robbed a bank — the fifth such case in 48 hours in Salt Lake City.

At approximately 6 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2014, a man entered the Zions Bank branch at 910 W. 2100 S. He approached a teller and demanded money. After receiving some cash, he left the bank and was last seen headed north on foot.

The suspect is described as:

  • male white  adult,
  • 50-60 years of age,
  • approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall,
  • 160 pounds,
  • gray beard and moustache,
  • and wearing a dark blue ball cap featuring a yellow-gold Maltese cross, white t-shirt, gray or beige jacket with a hood, dark pants, beige hiking or work boots.
