SLCPD Seeks Suspect in Robbery of Ice Cream Shop

May 30, 2013 — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify and locate a man who attempted to rob an ice cream shop in Sugar House over the weekend.

At approximately 2:45 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, a suspected entered Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream, 1135 E. Wilmington, brandished a knife and demanded money. The employees called police, and the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described as:

  • a male white adult in his 20s
  • 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall,
  • medium build,
  • and wearing a maroon hoodie, blue jeans, and a red baseball cap with a black-and-white bill.
