SLCPD Seeks Suspect in Several Local Robberies

SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify and locate two male suspects who robbed a jewelry store this morning.

At approximately 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013, two suspects entered Jewelers Guild, 703 E. 600 S., by impersonating police officers. They left with an unknown amount of jewelry.  There were no injuries.

The suspects were described as having weapons and wearing light blue polo type shirts with dark pants. Witnesses are asked to call police.

Suspect #1 is described as:

  • male black adult
  • 6 feet 4 inches to 6 feet 6 inches tall
  • muscular build
  • 220 to 240 pounds
  • hair in dreadlocks and a ponytail

Suspect #2 is described as:

  • a male white adult
  • 6 feet 2 inches tall
  • 200 to 220 pounds
