A female victim called police to report that a man had broken into her home. The suspect had entered the home through a second floor window. As she heard the man enter her bedroom, she jumped up to protect her baby, sleeping in the bed next to her. The suspect grabbed the victim, telling her not to scream, groping and threatening her. Moments later the suspect fled out the same window he entered. He is described as a male Hispanic adult, approximately 25 years of age, wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and white shoes, and smelling of alcohol. He may have gotten into a black or dark-colored Pontiac-type vehicle.

A 56-year-old woman was driving northbound on 500 East in a Jeep, crossed the center line of traffic and collided with a pickup truck driven by a 74-year-old man. Both drivers were transported in critical condition; the man later upgraded to stable.
