200 S. 500 W.

The victim stated she was driving in the area of 200 S. 500 W. when she pulled her vehicle to the curb to read a text message she received on her phone.  While parked, three suspects, 1 male and 2 female, entered her unlocked vehicle and demanded that she drive. The suspects intimated they had a firearm.  The victim drove the suspects around the city for nearly an hour as the suspects made numerous phone calls on her cell phone to suspected drug dealers.  The suspects stole $396 dollars before exiting her vehicle in the area of 1500 S. Redwood Rd.

The suspect descriptions: Male black adult, 40’s, 6’ with a slim build, wearing a yellow shirt, medium dark skin, and missing a front tooth, a female black, 30’s, wearing a black jacket and a female white, 30’s, with sandy blonde hair, 5’8”, heavy set, wearing a black shirt with flowers around the collar, and an unknown tattoo on her left wrist.

Officers responded to an active domestic and were immediately engaged in violent resistance from Robert Flores 11-10-85.  Flores broke away from the officers and fled into a neighbor’s apartment where he attempted barricade himself.  Officers were able to make entry and use a Taser to restrain Flores; he was booked on multiple charges.

536 W. 100 S.

The victim, Joaquin Gonzalez, 33, and a female were in a vehicle at approximately 536 W. 100 S.  The victims were approached in an aggressive manner by Harlin Argelio Ramos (10/27/83).  Gonzalez was taken by surprise and a physical altercation occurred between the two men.  Another male who arrived with Ramos was not involved in the altercation.  During the altercation, Gonzalez was stabbed by Ramos multiple times and died from his injuries.  Homicide detectives and crime lab responded.

*Update-Information was obtained quickly at the scene which led detectives to a local motel where the suspect, Harlin Argelio Ramos (10/27/83) was taken into custody.  Ramos was booked into jail on 1st degree felony murder.

Jon Vigil (3/13/87) was involved in a domestic dispute with a female victim in Bountiful where Jon stole the victim’s vehicle at gunpoint. (Case 2014-001312) The victim went to a friend’s apartment at 641 W. North Temple St.  Jon showed up at this apartment later, and told her he had a gun and he was going to shoot it out with the Police. Officers responded and located Vigil in the parking garage of the apartments.  Vigil was taken into custody without incident; he had a handgun tucked into his waistband. Bountiful PD responded and took custody of Vigil at the scene.   Medical responded and the weapon was booked into evidence.
