Melissa Bradley (6/7/78) and Michael Puentes (9/18/77) ordered and consumed food at Denny’s then left the restaurant without paying the bill.  Officers located the suspects in the area of 1700 S. 900 W. both suspects fled from the officers on bicycles. Containment was established and a K9 search conducted.  Both suspects were eventually located and taken into custody.

We received a couple of calls about shots fired in the area.  Officers located bullet casings in the street on Illinois.  No reports of damage at this time and no suspect information.

Safe Streets Detectives stopped Kyle Scarborough (6/11/91) and 3 other occupants for a traffic violation at 1600 S. Redwood.  Once pulled over, Scarborough attempted to flee by U-turning to go North on Redwood.  Just as he pulled away, a vehicle traveling South crashed into the side of his car.  Scarborough was transported to jail for fleeing, traffic violations and warrants.  Driver of other vehicle was transported to hospital for minor injuries.
