Officers were dispatched to this address on a call of a man screaming in the roadway. Officers arrived and detained Allen Keith Nelson, 44. During the investigation Nelson began to experience breathing problems, for which he was medically evaluated. Nelson subsequently stopped breathing and medical personnel declared him deceased on scene. This investigation is ongoing.

A vehicle driven by a 19-year-old female struck a utility power pole. The driver was transported to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition.
