A 50-year-old man stepped from the Trax platform and was knocked down by an oncoming train. The man was transported to a local hospital with very minor injuries. The man was cited for jaywalking.
155 S. 400 E.
Officers located Brandon Bitsilly (8/12/83) and a 42-year-old man intoxicated in the apartment hallway at the above address. Bitsilly refused to comply with officer’s commands and physically resisted officers when they were arresting him. An officer used a taser to take Bitsilly into custody. Bitsilly was booked for resisting arrest, public intoxication, and warrants. The 42-year-old man was cited for public intoxication and taken to detox.
1135 S. 1900 E.
Officers responded to the above address because they had received a call of a loud bang. They located a swollen 2 liter bottle containing dry ice in the parking lot. The remnants of another 2 liter bottle were nearby. The bottle was rendered safe by a Detective. An investigation is ongoing.
575 N. New Star Dr
A party was shut down by the occupant of the above residence. As people were leaving, an unknown suspect started a fire inside of a 2009 Volkswagen parked in front of the house. The Fire Department’s Arson Investigators are handling the case.
