900 S. 200 W.
A 32-year-old man reported that he was walking in the area of 900 S. 200 W. when a black vehicle pulled up to him. One of the vehicle’s occupants began to argue with the victim. This suspect exited the vehicle and fired multiple rounds at the victim, striking him once in the leg. A friend transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was deemed to be in stable condition and police were called at that time. The suspect was described as a white male.
150 N. 900 W.
Deon Anderson (10/13/69) passed a fraudulent check at the Rite Aid. He was detained by store security and found to be in possession of several other stolen checks. Anderson was booked into jail on several charges, including forgery and possession of stolen property.
315 S. Main Street
A 30-year-old man and his 29-year-old girlfriend were robbed at gunpoint behind the Cheer’s to You bar. A 90s model green Honda passenger car approached the couple. The suspect exited the car pointing a handgun at them and demanded the victims’ purse, wallet and cell phones. The suspect fled in the Honda. The vehicle was driven by a female, and the suspect with the gun was described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 150 pounds. The male suspect wore a black shirt and has several tattoos on his face.
