Public intoxication/trespass/resisting arrest/CED deployment
2246 S. 900 E.
Officers responded to the above location where the complainant had a trespasser, Adrian Dawes (2/26/88), sitting on his front porch. An officer arrived and ordered Dawes to get on the ground. Dawes would not respond or comply with those orders. When Dawes replied “no” to the officer’s commands and began to take up a fighting posture, the officer deployed his Taser and took him into custody. Dawes was arrested for public intoxication, trespassing and resisting arrest.
