A 57-year-old woman was crossing State Street when she was struck by a southbound truck.  The driver of the truck said he never saw the victim until he struck her. The victim was transported to a local hospital and later was reported to be in stable condition.

A 32-year-old man was walking in the area of 600 West North Temple when two men on bikes stopped him and demanded money/property.  He complied yet one of the suspects hit him in the forehead with a handgun. The gun fired on impact but no one was hit. A passerby drove the victim to the hospital with a laceration to the forehead. One suspect is described as a white male, 35 years- of- age, short and skinny, neck and arm tattoos, riding a silver bike.  The other is described as Hispanic, 22 years-of-age, 6 feet 5 inches tall, husky build.
