210 S. Rio Grande
Officers responded on a report of a fight at the shelter. They located a 56-year-old female stabbing victim. She was transported to the hospital in serious condition. Suspect Ronald Rivera (7/28/50) had been detained by bystanders and was later booked into jail.
960 W North Temple Street
A male adult concealed food items in his jacket and as he approached the front of the store the clerk confronted him. The male pulled his jacket aside and showed the clerk that he had a weapon and proceeded to leave the store on foot. The suspect description is still under investigation.
800 W South Temple Street
A male adult victim reported that while he was parked in the area of 800 W South Temple five males attempted to steal his car and one brandished a weapon. The victim drove away and called police. A couple of hour’s later officers located the five suspects and after their investigation they were able to make an arrest. Devin Nelson House (9/6/91) was booked into jail on aggravated robbery charges and outstanding warrants.
