A 42-year-old woman was walking to a business, when a man grabbed the woman’s hand and unsuccessfully attempted to remove her rings. During the struggle one stone came free from a ring and the man fled. The suspect was described as being Polynesian, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown eyes and a round face. The suspect wore a light grey jacket, blue jeans and a black neoprene facemask that had blue material on the nose and under the eyes.

Suspicious Death

 A 38-year-old man was discovered deceased in the pond at Fairmont Park. A 35-year-old man was also at the pond and was wet. The 35-year-old man was treated for exposure. The death is being treated as suspicious and the Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. Next of kin has not been contacted as of this writing.
