An officer stopped a suspect for trespassing but he began to leave before the officer could issue a citation. As the officer tried to stop him from leaving, the suspect became combative. The officer deployed his baton and after one strike to the arm the suspect became compliant. Robert Bergener (1/4/87) was booked on several charges including the original trespass.

An officer located the suspect from the aggravated assault suspect from Saturday’s stabbing at the shelter. http://slcpd.com/watch-log-saturday-march-22-2014. Tarik Mason (1/27/82) was booked for the stabbing.

A man entered the Smith’s, walked over to the bank and demanded money. The teller complied and the suspect exited the bank. He is described as an adult white male, 6 feet tall, 45-50 years of age, heavy build, wearing a white baseball cap, sunglasses, dark sweatshirt with white lettering “8A7” across the front. No one was injured. Investigation ongoing.
