AFTERNOON SHIFT

Officers were called to the above location on a report of a person lying on the ground and not moving. Upon arrival, officers discovered Eva Montanez, 45 was deceased. Further investigation revealed Montanez had died earlier inside of a residence and her body had been moved to this location. The state Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death. Leo Maestas (5/12/67) Michael Montoya (2/10/57) and Catherine Eichler (9/9/57) were booked into jail for desecration of a human body.
