Theft In Progress

Officers responded to a theft in progress at Rite Aid. The suspect had taken a flash light and exited the store running North bound on 900 West. He was last seen in the block between 900 West and 800 West on 300 North.  Containment was set up and he was eventually captured hiding in a stack of tires.  Michael Levi Hansen 6/9/89 was cited and released for the theft.

The victim lives with several roommates who work at a local ski resort together.  He heard someone enter his house and thought it was one of his roommates.  The suspect entered the victim’s room armed with a large kitchen knife, and took the victim’s cell phone.    Officers developed information that a female acquaintance might know the suspect and discovered that the suspect had held a knife to her throat and threatened her.  The suspect was arrested by Unified PD after he crashed his car on the way to the ski resort to look for another roommate of the residence.  The suspect who was identified as Nathan Holder 11-26-72 was booked for Aggravated Assault DV under our case, as well as charges under the UPD case.

The victim noticed a dark grey Dodge magnum parked in his driveway.  The victim made contact with the driver of the Dodge who told him that his son owed him money.  The victim went back in his house and heard a single gunshot.  When he came back outside the vehicle was gone.  There was no property damage and officers located a single .22 casing. The suspect was described as male Hispanic, in his early 20′s, about 5’5″, with sleeve tattoos on his arms.
