Suspect #1 entered the Subway and asked for cookies. The victim/clerk served the suspect who then brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cash register. The clerk complied, and then the suspect exited the store and got into a white Chevy Suburban with a temp tag in the license plate holder. Suspect #2 was driving the Suburban, which left the scene southbound on 1000 East. Suspect #1: male black adult, 17-20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and wearing a wig with dreadlocks (completely covering his face), a red hoodie, jeans, and white gloves. Suspect #2: male black adult, 17-20 years old, white T-shirt, short black hair, skinny build.
960 W. North Temple
The clerk at this convenience store declined a beer sale to a suspect without identification. The suspect responded by taking some candy from the store. The clerk pursued the suspect outside and attempted to detain him. The suspect assaulted the clerk. Suspect is a male Hispanic adult who was wearing a striped shirt.
122 W. Pierpont Ave (Club Inferno)
Officers responded to a call of shots-fired inside a club, with hundreds of people at the scene. Officers found five victims with gunshot wounds, with another self-transporting to a local hospital. Victims were transported to local hospitals with injuries ranging up to critical. As the suspects fled the scene in a Black Cadillac CTS, they attempted to strike an armed-security guard with the vehicle and waved a firearm at the security guard, who fired at the car. Reported stolen, the vehicle was recovered where it had been abandoned at 2320 S. 1650 W.
952 S. Navajo
A party at this address grew beyond the control of its hosts. The victim got into a verbal dispute with one of the uninvited persons, a heavyset young man, gray shirt, black pants. They agreed to a fist-fight and went to the street in front of the home. The suspect lost, at which point a friend handed him a weapon. The suspect called out to the victim, fired in his direction, and struck the victim. The suspect and his cohort fled the scene. At this time they remain outstanding. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he remains in serious condition.
