Compiled by Watch Commanders in the field, the Watch Log is a summary of events that stand out to them in a given 24-hour period. Bank Robbery – Wells Fargo
299 S Main
Suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank, demanded money and said he had a gun. No gun was seen. The bank teller gave the suspect cash and he fled out the east doors of the bank. Suspect last seen running east on 300 S from the bank. Suspect described as a male black approximately 55 to 60 years old, grey hair, 5’8″, heavy build, glasses, and a light colored tee shirt. Suspect was carrying a dark colored duffle bag.
Robbery/ Suspect Apprehension
210 S. Rio Grande
Officers received a tip that robbery suspect, Marshall James Roberts, was in the Shelter area. Officers were able to locate Roberts and take him into custody without incident. Robbery Detectives assumed the investigation and Roberts was booked into jail for multiple robberies.
655 E. 400 S.
The male victim was walking in the area of the 655 East 400 South when he was approached by two male suspects. Both suspects brandished knife’s and took the victim’s cash and phone. The suspects left in a car driven by Stephanie Brown-Richards. Officers located the suspect vehicle and conducted a felony stop. The victim identified all three as being involved in the robbery. The male juvenile suspect had the cash in his sock and the cell phone was found in the car. The male juvenile went to detention and both adult suspects, Stephanie Brown-Richards (3/29/96) and Dodjim LeClaire,(1/1/93) were booked into jail for Aggravated Robbery.
