Bicyclist Stop/ Fleeing/ Fugitive Apprehension

A bicyclist, Jeremy Lettow (10/22/81), entered the intersection against a red light and nearly hit a passing police car. Officers attempted to stop Lettow for the violation, but he fled. Lettow rode his bicycle toward the PSB and then down the plaza stairs onto 300 East. Lettow was not able to navigate the center island curb and crashed his bicycle. Lettow was taken into custody after a brief physical struggle with officers. Lettow was found to have warrants for burglary, fleeing and theft. Lettow was booked into jail on the outstanding warrants and charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of burglary tools, failure to stop for a police officer, and a red light violation.
Follow up – Bank Robbery Suspect Capture

SLCPD and Unified PD worked together to follow up on leads related to suspected bank robber David Traversa (11/2/92). Officers responded to the area of the Gateway Motel in Midvale and took Traversa into custody.
