Two females and a male were walking to Art’s Place at the above location when they were approached by three men who demanded their property, brandishing a weapon. After the victims complied the three suspects left the scene in a small, white 4-door. They are described as Hispanic males, one with a Lakers jersey, another with a white shirt, and the third had no shirt. No one was injured.

Officers responded to the shelter on a report of four abandoned children. When Officers arrived they found four kids, 9, 5, 2 years of age and a 9-month old under the care of an employee at the shelter because they had been found in their room with no one attending them. During their investigation it was determined that the father had recently been arrested a few hours earlier and was in jail. The Division of Child and Family Services was notified and the children were taken into protective custody.
