A male entered the above restaurant and demanded money from an employee. After obtaining cash, the suspect fled and the employee pursued him on foot. A 28-year-old man, who heard the employee yelling for help, saw the employee chasing the suspect and ran to help. The suspect fired a gun toward the pursing men and struck the 28-year-old man in the leg. The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was described as a male Hispanic, in his mid-20s, with a slim build. He had a blue mask over his face; long, baggy blue shorts and a long, baggy white t-shirt.

Aggravated Robbery/Kidnapping

A male and a female victim were inside a motel room when they heard a knock at the door. When they opened the door, two males entered the room and demanded money. One of the suspects assaulted the male victim and refused to let the victims leave the room. The suspects eventually forced the male victim to leave with them and were encountered by arriving police officers before they were able to leave the scene. Gregory Ramirez (9/17/80) was booked into jail for aggravated kidnapping. Uiva Solovi (5/1/80) was booked into jail for aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
