1000 N. Warm Springs Road
The complainant reported that she observed people climbing over the fence surrounding the Granite Construction site. Officers responded and observed three males running westbound from the property. Officers pursued on foot and were able to take Sheldon Yazzie (4-5-94) into custody. Two other males ran into the area of 800 N. and 900 W. Containment was set up quickly but the additional suspects were not located. Suspects described as males, one wearing a black shirt and black shorts the second suspect wearing a grey sweatshirt. Yazzie was booked into jail for outstanding warrants and trespass.
210 S. Rio Grande
Metro Officers were on an unrelated call when the Letifha Lynn Yazzie (2-8-93) began to approach them with an open box cutter. After giving her instruction several times to drop the knife she finally complied and was taken into custody. Yazzie was booked into jail for brandishing a weapon with intent to commit an assault and disorderly conduct.
