Traffic Accident with Injuries
400 W. North Temple

A Ford pickup truck, traveling westbound on North Temple, slammed into the rear end of a small passenger vehicle. The truck then clipped a third vehicle that was sitting at the red light waiting to travel eastbound on North Temple. A 31-year-old female was transported to a local hospital in extremely critical condition. A 33-year-old male was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Mike Valdez (12/2/66) confronted the clerk with a knife and demanded money. The clerk complied with the demands and Valdez fled the scene. Officers located Valdez and discovered he had also robbed the same store on January 27, 2013. Valdez was booked into jail for 2 counts of aggravated robbery.

A man entered the store, put his hands in his pockets and informed the clerk he had a gun. The man demanded money and the clerk complied. The suspect was described as a male adult, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, medium build and was wearing dark clothing, gloves and had a mask covering his face.

A 29-year-old man showed up at a local hospital with a stab wound to the chest. The man reported that he had been confronted by two males, at the above listed address, who demanded his money. The suspects grabbed the man and stabbed him. The suspects were only described as Hispanic males. The victim did not provide officers with any other details about the incident or the suspects.
