531 E. 400 S. Walgreens
The suspect entered the store with a shopping cart. He selected various items and then tried to exit the store without paying for them. He was stopped by an employee and the suspect sprayed something in the employees’ eyes (pepper spray) and then left the store without the shopping cart. He was described as a male, white, adult, 20′s, 5’7, 140 lbs, wearing a shirt with black and yellow lettering on it, black baseball cap, and tattoos on his neck.

An officer was flagged down in the area of the listed address. He discovered a male bleeding from a large laceration on his forearm and the female suspect still on scene. The suspect Tasha Davis (10/27/89) had become enraged while she and her neighbor were arguing. She retrieved a Samurai Sword from her apartment. She attacked the victim; swinging the long sword at him repeatedly. The victim blocked one of the swings with his forearm, causing a deep laceration. Davis’s boyfriend grabbed Davis and subdued her just as the officers arrived on scene. Davis was booked into jail for Attempted Murder.
