Child Abuse

Police were called on reports of a fight and possible child abuse. Upon arrival officers determined that a man had struck a 6-year-old boy with a cooking pan. The man is the mother’s boyfriend. The child was transported to a local hospital in stable condition with a gash to his forehead. Tracy Gallardo (7/21/70) was booked for felony child abuse and criminal mischief for damaging a police car while being arrested. DCFS was contacted.
