Burglary in progress
1700 N. Beck St.
Officers responded to a burglary call at an apartment. The suspect was runing away as police arrived but he was eventually taken into custody without incident. Jason Freeze (1/29/74) was booked for burglary, criminal trespass, and a warrant.
1133 Glendale Dr.
A male adult entered the business, displayed a weapon and demanded cash. As another employee emerged from a back office the suspect fled. He is described as a white male adult, 25-35 years old, blonde hair, scruffy beard, gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
150 W. Fremont Ave.
Two male adults were sitting in the grass on the north side of Fremont Avenue as a white minivan pulled up to the curb nearby. A passenger fired several shots from inside the vehicle. Both victims each sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and were transported to the hospital in stable condition. Gang detectives are Investigating.
