A male and female entered the Zee Mart. The male suspect brandished a weapon and demanded cash from the clerk who was not able to open the register. The suspects fled.
145 West Pierpont Ave.
A group of people began fighting at Club Inferno. Two persons were transported to a local hospital. Yves Twahirwa (9/30/88) was booked for aggravated assault.
475 S. 300 E.
A 64-year-old male victim received a threatening letter demanding he deliver $10,000 by a certain time. He contacted police and an arrangement was made with the suspect to exchange the money. Officers took Kenny McClellan (3/3/1988) into custody and charged him with felony extortion.
1036 W. 300 S.
A 52-year-old man was stabbed in the arm by his wife over a dispute involving alcohol. He received minor cuts to his arm when he attempted to take alcohol away from her. Officers arrested Michelle Dillman (4/24/64) on several domestic violence charges.
