The suspect entered the Family Dollar Store with a pair of vice grip style pliers and demanded cash. The suspect obtained cash and then left northbound on foot discarding his hat and sunglasses as he fled. The suspect is described as a young male with dark skin, medium height with a slender to medium build, he also had a three dot tattoo near his left eye. He was wearing a blue and white striped polo shirt.

The Narcotics unit served a search warrant at the above location. As a result of the search, approximately 2 ounces of heroin, scales, drug packaging materials, paraphernalia and cash were seized. Leo Duran was booked into jail for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.

The 39-year-old victim was walking on the sidewalk when she was approached by the suspect. He knocked her to the ground and dragged her towards an alley. A witness to the incident yelled at the suspect who then let go of the victim and fled. The suspect was described as a male black about 6’ tall, wearing jeans and a dark jacket.
