An officer was attempting to arrest a 50-year-old man for a burglary warrant when the man tried to flee. As he fled he reached into his pocket. Believing the suspect may be reaching for a weapon the officer deployed his taser. As a result the man fell to the ground, bumping his head. He was transported to a local hospital to be checked for injury to his head. He has not been booked into jail at this time.

Officers located a stolen vehicle at the above address. A gun was recovered from inside the vehicle. Joseph Ballard (12/19/81) was booked into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a firearm by a restricted person and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sierra Conder (2/20/89) was booked into jail for a warrant.

A man entered the business and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money the man got into the passenger side of a truck which left the scene eastbound on 1300 South. The suspect was described as a male of Middle Eastern descent, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with black curly hair, his face was “painted” white and he was wearing a black scarf. The driver of the truck was described as a male black adult wearing a green jacket.
