Domestic Violence/Kidnapping

Case 12-208132

A husband and his 23-year-old wife got into an argument. The wife went to a nearby friend’s apartment. The husband, Christian Perez (5/20/85), forced his way into the apartment, pushing down the residents as they tried to prevent him from getting to the wife upstairs. The husband dragged his wife from the apartment against her will. Officers located Perez and his wife later in the evening.  Perez was booked for burglary, kidnapping, and three counts of assault. The 23-year old victim/wife was unharmed.



Narcotics/Prostitution Operation

North Temple and 200 South

Ten people were arrested for charges ranging from soliciting prostitution to possession of controlled substance, distribution of Cocaine, and soliciting the sale of illicit drugs.



Auto/Pedestrian Accident

715 S. 600 W.

Case 12-208433

A 52-year old male dressed in dark clothing was in the roadway at this address.  A motorist traveling northbound did not see him until just before striking him.  The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.



Shots Fired

762 W. 500 N.


Several persons were involved in a fistfight when shots were fired.  A female was struck by gunfire, transported to a local hospital, and is in stable condition.  Gang detectives are investigating.
