1154 E. Brickyard
Kohl’s Department Store reported a theft in progress. An officer arrived and confronted a male suspect who resisted and fled the area. Other officers arrived and caught up to the suspect nearby. Gerardo Garcia-Apac (5/28/87) was booked on several charges including theft, resisting, and fleeing.
Man with a knife
Witnesses called to report a man in the middle of Pioneer Park threatening people with a knife. Officers arrived and found the suspect with an open box cutter. He was taken into custody. Raymond Rodgers (10/10/78) was booked for disorderly conduct and brandishing a weapon.
916 N. 900 W.
Dispatch received a call that two men were shooting at one another, one of them in a vehicle. Officers and a K-9 Unit responded and found bullet holes in a vehicle and shell casings on the ground. An involved person was located in a nearby apartment complex. The investigation is ongoing.
310 S. 400 W.
An officer observed a pickup truck run a stop sign and conducted a traffic stop. Upon investigation it turned out the vehicle was stolen. Michael Crosthwaite (9/2/67) was booked for possession of a stolen vehicle.
