The narcotics unit served a warrant in the listed area. As a result, crack cocaine along with cash and paraphernalia were seized. Elvin Aguilar-Medina (34) and Julio Aguilar-Alcero (19) were booked into jail for possession of a controlled substance with Intent to distribute.

GRAVEYARD SHIFT

2214      Bomb Threats      455 S. 500 E.      12-46636

Lonnie Thompson (36) called 9-11 from payphones at the Smith’s Marketplace, and the Trax station nearby. When he spoke with dispatch he indicated that there were bombs at Trolley square. Officers quickly located Thompson at the Trax station. He was wearing a security guard uniform with a duty belt. Thompson is not employed by any security company and claims to volunteer his security services to the community. He was taken to jail for making a false alarm regarding a weapon of mass destruction.
