1120 E. Crandall Ave.
At approximately 7:36 a.m. August 29, 2012, Officers responded to a call of a body discovered in a vacant lot at 1120 E. Crandall Ave. Upon arrival, they found 16-year-old Kenyatta Winston deceased. The investigation confirmed the victim had been shot. Kenyatta was last seen by family members early Sunday evening.
115 E. 1300 S.
The First Utah Bank located at 115 E. 1300 S. was robbed on August 28th at approximately 1400. The suspect turned himself into the Robbery detectives on August 29th. Oscar Hoiseth (10/28/84) was transported and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for robbery.
1001 S. Montgomery St
The Salt Lake City SWAT team executed the service of a search warrant. Marijuana, scales, drug paraphernalia, cash, a loaded handgun and a vehicle were all seized. Samsoni Tauelangi (9/18/89) was booked into jail for possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a firearm by a restricted and paraphernalia.
