A 20-year-old woman was taken against her will and physically assaulted by suspect Jeremy Deangilo Storm (1/19/93). Storm lured the victim into his car by offering to take her to breakfast. Once the victim was in Storm’s car, he locked all of the doors and refused to let her leave. Storm located a second female victim and forced her into his car by displaying a handgun. He then drove toward Park City. Once there Storm attacked the first woman and forced the other woman to assist him. Storm then drove to a different location and attempted to stab the first woman with a knife. She was able to escape and flee to safety, at which point Storm fled the area and headed back to Salt Lake City. Storm was spotted by Utah Highway Patrol at Parley’s Summit and fled when troopers attempted to stop him. The pursuit ended with a traffic accident in the Millcreek area, after which Storm fled on foot. He was captured by Unified Police Department. Storm was booked into the Salt Lake County Metro Jail on one count of attempted homicide, two counts of kidnapping, one count of felony fleeing, and one count of misdemeanor fleeing.
