A woman entering her car was approached by a man who displayed a weapon and demanded her purse. The woman screamed, at which point the suspect fled in a waiting car, a white Pontiac passenger car that was occupied by an adult female Hispanic and a child. The suspect was described as Hispanic, in his 20s, 5 feet 7 inches and 150 pounds. He wore a red jersey, baseball cap and blue jeans.

Officers were investigating a theft and had contacted Jose Franco (5/13/82) as a suspect. Franco fled from officers and climbed onto the roof of a nearby house, but he was safely taken into custody a short time later. Franco was booked into jail on several charges that included theft, failure to stop at the command of law enforcement and criminal mischief.

A female suspect entered the business and demanded money with a weapon. The employee complied and the suspect fled. The suspect is described as a female wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses.
