I just wanted to post a quick note and let you all know that a wanted fugitive was arrested in District 5 recently.  The arrest was the direct result of proactive police work by the officers specifically assigned to such enforcement on the east side of Salt Lake. During the arrest a wanted fugitive was apprehended, a very significant amount of methamphetamine and heroin were taken off the street and two guns were seized.
