Michael T. Gagon (10/3/76), who intimated that he had a gun, demanded all of the money from an Express Market store clerk. The clerk refused Gagon’s demands and he left the store empty-handed. Gagon fled in a maroon vehicle that was spotted by responding officers. A brief pursuit ensued, during which Gagon abandoned the vehicle in the area of 360 N. Jennifer Way and fled on foot. Officers chased Gagon and took him into custody a short distance later. The vehicle that Gagon drove was stolen out of Sandy. Officers booked Gagon into jail on several charges, including robbery, fleeing from an officer, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

An officer located a stolen vehicle traveling on 600 North. The officer stopped the vehicle and the driver, Orlando Roybal (9/26/82), was taken into custody without incident. Officers booked Roybal into jail on a charge of possession of a stolen vehicle.
