Derrick Martin Lunt (6/19/86) and others jumped the victim and stole a chain he was wearing around his neck and also a radio belonging to him. Later in the day an officer spotted Mr. Lunt asleep on the sidewalk at 749 South State Street. He was booked into jail for robbery.

A 50-year-old man was struck by a vehicle on the east side of the above listed intersection. The man was found dead and the involved car had left the scene when officers arrived. The suspect vehicle will have damage to the front end. The front end damage may extend into the hood and windshield.

Joel Estrada (1/21/84) broke into a vehicle in the parking lot at the above listed address. He fled on foot as officers arrived but an officer was able to catch him. Joel fought with the officer but was taken into custody with the help of a K9 team. Estrada was booked into jail for vehicle burglary, possession of burglary tools, fleeing and resisting arrest.
