Officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress at the State Liquor Store. As officers arrived on scene, Ben Vigil (4/30/82) was found hiding behind a dumpster in a nearby parking lot. He was found in possession of a bottle of vodka that was taken from the liquor store. Ben was booked into jail for burglary and theft.

Officers were checking vehicles in the parking lot of the Roadway Inn Motel. They came across a vehicle owned by Tesha Gardner (2/15/91), who had a felony arrest warrant. Officers contacted Gardner at her motel room and took her into custody without incident. Jarvis Cuch (5/1/89), also in the motel room, was found in possession of a loaded handgun. Cuch initially provided false information to officers, and he was booked into jail on several charges including weapons violations, providing false information to a police officer and outstanding warrants.

Traffic Stop/Drug Arrest

Officers stopped a vehicle for several traffic infractions at the above listed address. The driver, Mauro Mendoza (10/6/87), was found to not have a valid Utah Driver’s license. During the traffic stop, Mauro ran from the scene. Officers contained the area and found Mendoza. Mendoza was found in possession of multiple balloons of heroin and cocaine. He was booked into jail for possession with intent to distribute, fleeing, and multiple traffic violations.

Accident investigators developed information that led them to a Tooele address. The suspect vehicle was in a garage and was visible from a window. Contact was made with the owners of the vehicle. William Fullmer (2/8/91) was booked into the Salt Lake County jail for automobile homicide and felony hit and run. The deceased was identified as 50 year old Eugene Nelson.

The suspect entered the 21-year-old victim’s home holding a handgun and demanded money from the victim. The victim refused to comply with the suspects demands so the suspect struck the victim in the face. The victim fought back and the suspect fled the scene. The suspect was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt that was covering his face and sunglasses.
