Police responded to the above location on a report of an assault. As officers arrived, the suspect took off running. An officer began to pursue the suspect when the suspect stopped, turned around and attempted to assault the pursuing officer. The officer used a baton to gain control of the suspect and was able to take the suspect into custody. Titus Wright (1/20/86) was booked into jail for assault as well as assault on a Police Officer.
