Reward offered for information

August 3, 2012 — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify and locate a suspect in an aggravated assault that occurred at a downtown bar last month.

At approximately 12 a.m. July 7, 2012, a male white adult in his mid-20s confronted another man at Maxwell’s, 357 S. Main Street, Salt Lake City. The suspect smashed a cocktail glass into the head of the victim, then he left the scene.

The composite sketch (above) is based on a description provided by the victim in this case. A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect, who is described as:

  • male,
  • white ,
  • adult (approximately 25),
  • 5 feet 11 inches,
  • muscular build,
  • blond close-cropped, balding hair,
  • and wearing a light blue or gray shirt.
