An 18-year-old male was playing basketball in the park with three other males. Three male Hispanics approached the victim and his friends. They asked if they were in a gang. Before the victim could answer, one of the male suspects took a knife out of his pocket and attempted to stab the victim in the chest. The victim raised his hand to defend himself and was cut on the hand. The suspects fled south towards North Temple. The suspect who cut the victim was described as a male Hispanic adult approximately 6’2” tall with dark short hair wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and dark glasses. The victim was transported to a local hospital for the small cut on his hand.
