Officers responded to a Domestic Violence call at the above address. While they were interviewing the involved persons an intoxicated male adult kept interfering, refusing officers repeated commands to move away. He resisted officer’s attempts to take him into custody and was tased.  He was found to have been concealing a loaded handgun. Kollen T. Rice (5-21-87) was booked on several outstanding arrest warrants and multiple charges.

An officer attempted a routine traffic stop and the vehicle fled.  Officers found it abandoned at 256 S. 1400 W. and determined it had been stolen. Officers set up containment and deployed a K-9 team.  Four of the vehicle occupants were eventually located. Hung Nguyen (5/14/93) was booked into jail for on a warrant and fleeing. A female juvenile was booked into Detention for a pickup order, drug paraphernalia, and fleeing. Two other juveniles were released, charges screened. The male adult driver of the stolen vehicle got away but has been identified.
